Creating a Student Group from a Pivot Table Prebuilt->Custom Report

This lesson will guide you through the creation of a student group based on a custom report you have already created through the Pivot Table prebuilt report.

Populate your Pivot Table Report: Navigation: Reports > List Reports > Prebuilts > Pivot Table

Once created, select a number (Group) of students you would like to turn this into a Custom Report for.

Once you click on that number of students, a pop up window will display a list of names. Click Create Custom Report.

1. Once in the report, select the Advanced tab and click Create Student Group.

2. Give the group a title.

3. Select Save and Proceed to Student Group.

You will be taken to the Student Group Details page.

4. To use this as a visibility group (meaning you and anyone you share it with can log into Illuminate under this group/see students in it) change 'Visibility Group?' to YES.

5. Click Save Changes.
