MTSS / RTI Intervention Tracking Checklist

In this lesson you will learn how to setup MTSS/RTI Intervention Tracking for any user who will need to enter intervention data which includes selecting intervention programs, add students to intervention programs, and log intervention sessions.  This lesson provides overall procedures and steps that can only be conducted by a System Administrator.

All users utilizing the Intervention Tracking module will need permissions to access the module. Users who need to have access to all caseloads at a site or district will need to the permission to view all caseloads.

Additional Intervention Custom Fields, Intervention Flags, and Student Programs will need to be created to support the Intervention module when building Intervention groups and adding session logs. Custom Field examples include before/after school, Push-in, SDAIE, LCAP-SED, etc. Intervention Flags inherited and available once the module has been enabled are received and not received. Student Program examples would be RTI Reading, ELD, Math Intervention, etc.

Build Intervention Groups

All users with the permission can create Intervention Groups based on their visibility.

Adding Session Logs

Where to Start: Adding Session Logs

Users can add intervention notes and logs for multiple or single students that includes log date, start and end times, instruction received and comments, if applicable. All entered data is available for custom reporting.

Available Reporting

Where to Start: Reports for Intervention Tracking

Reports are available within the module for quick and easy access to intervention information. Intervention data can also be used within Custom Reports.

Intervention data is available for use within Custom Reports to add to new or current custom reports.

As a System Administrator you may want to reference the DNA System Admin lesson for "Add and Edit DNA Scopes" for a starter with Code Management or watch the MTSS/RTI Intervention Tracking Setup video.  You will want to load "Student Programs" and "Intervention Custom Fields" to customize the options that appear in the MTSS/RTI Intervention Tracking module.  When adding Student Programs for RTI, you will need to use the program type - "intervention".
