CST Cluster Scores- Student List by Course
Who is the intended audience?
Teachers and administrators
What data is reported?
Each student’s grade when tested, scale score, performance level, and percent of questions answered correctly for each content cluster on the CST; you can opt to change the latter scores to the difference between student’s score and that of another, such as State Minimally Profcient.
How is the data reported?
All students for a particular teacher and course are listed with their scores, and then graphed by scale score. A summary of each course’s performance follows each section.
Content clusters vary in difficulty, so a student's highest % correct does not necessarily indicate his or her strength. Change Report Type to Compare to State Min. Prof. to compare each student’s % correct to the average % correct earned by students statewide. The system will calculate Student Score – SMP Score = # for you so you can identify possible strengths (highest #s) and possible weaknesses (lowest #s). Comparisons to State Minimally Advanced (Student – SMA = #) and to all students in the report (Student – Group Average = #) are also possible.
