Reset a User's Password

This lesson will guide you through the process of reseting a single user's password.

Note: To mass set a password for a site or district, please send in a help desk ticket or call Illuminate directly.

Where to Start

Where to Start

1. Click on the Administration Gear.

2. Under Users, select User Management.

3. Search for the user by Last Name, First Name, Username, any criteria you like.  

4. Click Search.

5. Click Actions.

6. Select Change Password.

7. Type in the User's new password.

8. Click Save Changes.

Once saved, you will receive the confirmation, "User successfully saved." For information on Mass Setting a password see the 'Mass Setting User Passwords' document.
